| Challenger MT835B – MT865B models optional 3-point hitches are designed as an integral system to provide maximum lift capacity, lift height and control. The heavyweight strength, coupled with the articulated design of this “steerable” hitch, delivers superior performance and greater productivity with 3-point mounted tools. The new exclusive steerable 3-point MT800B-Hitch improves turning performance in tillage and row crop applications. The articulated design improves the steering performance while turning under load. It provides excellent maneuverability and control that makes it easier to follow field contours with mounted implements. The manual and float modes provide the best operator control and tractor performance of any tractor in its class, anywhere in the world. Raising The Power Standards The hydraulic system in the Challenger MT800B Series tractors delivers superior performance to meet today’s demanding requirements. With 166 liter/min standard and 223 liter/min optional flow capacity, these machines not only handle today’s requirements, but can also deal with the increasing demands for higher capacity as implements demand more and more hydraulic flow. The hydraulic system has four remote hydraulic valves as standard and options for five or six. The system shares a common sump that also provides lubrication for: - the PTO,
- transmission,
- brakes and differential,
- supplies pilot control oil for the steering, transmission and PTO, and
- provides system oil for the implement and steering hydraulic systems.
The steering, transmission and implement hydraulic systems each have their own separate filtration system to protect the pumps, valves and motors from contamination. An integrated cooling system keeps all this oil running at optimum temperature. The Challenger-exclusive Load-Independent Flow Division (LIFD) maintains proportional oil flow to all circuits when the system is operating at full capacity. The LIFD delivers non-stop operation even when hydraulics is demanding combined flow in excess of total pump capacity. In contrast to all competitive hydraulic systems that can’t proportion their flow to keep all the circuits operating properly when pump capacity is exceeded, the MT800B’s system keeps all circuits functioning proportionally at all times. Remote hydraulics is precisely controlled through the Intellitronics™ network. You can adjust flow and set time detents for each circuit to precisely adjust individual valve operations. |
