The features and controls are all designed to make long hours in the field as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Ergonomic experts designed the interiors, with direct input from farmers , to make these state-of-the-art cabs the finest in the industry. These new, quieter cabs have unprecedented space (3.06 cu.m) and all-around visibility from the high operator position. All controls are positioned logically and ergonomically . The Tractor Management System, integrated into the driver’s seat armrest, puts control of most major functions at the operator’s fingertips . The Surround-Flow™ ventilation system , with 12 vents located throughout the cab, keeps air moving through the cab at a constant temperature. The temperature is controlled by the air conditioning system working through these vents - this system is supplied as standard on MT835B-MT855B models, and can be upgraded to full climate control as an option. The MT865B and MT875B models come with full climate control as standard. Noise levels in the cab have now been reduced by 2.3 dB to an average of 73 for the Series, providing unequalled operator comfort. The unique, patented single-spoke steering wheel provides optimum control without obstructing the dash panel. The wheel telescopes and tilts, and for easy steering there is a specially textured round ball on the wheel. The all-new electronically controlled speed-sensitive steering feels right and minimises operator fatigue during long hours in the field. | | The air-suspension operator’s seat is designed to support any operator in complete comfort. Seat height, suspension, ride firmness and lumbar support are adjustable, and the seat adjusts 178 mm fore and aft. Its equipped with fore-aft and side-to-side isolators, and swivels 25 degrees right and 10 degrees left, making it easier to keep an eye on rear-mounted implements, and easier to get in and out of the cab. | |  Challenger MT800B-Cab Air-Suspension seat | | The new Sears Air 2000 Semi-Active seat is also now available, offering the ultimate in operator comfort. Magnetic Response Fluid located in a piston under the seat ensures the smoothest ride possible across uneven terrain, and with improved fore and aft isolators, adjustable upper backrest and heated seat and backrest, this option is ideal for the comfort-conscious operator. The tractor is equipped with a standard instructional seat, complete with retractable seat belt, and the backrest folds down to provide a cup holder and work table with plenty of room for a laptop computer. | | Back to Top | | | | The Challenger MT800B Series tractors are designed inside and out to deliver more operator comfort and convenience than any other farm tractor in their class. The spacious cab , with 6.3m2 of useable glass area, gives the operator a commanding view of everything to the front, rear and sides. The parallel-sweep front wiper fully clears the windshield, and the optional side wiper keeps the right window clear as well. For an unobstructed view of wide implements, rear ROPS cab posts are in line with the operator’s shoulder, and the swivel seat allows a view of the implements with minimum strain. Tinted glass and optional retractable sun visors reduce the sun’s glare and help keep the interior cool on the hottest days. Shallow angle steps make the Challenger easy to enter and exit, and the optional second handrail offers additional support. Plenty of storage space is designed into the interior. There’s a mobile phone holder, a coat hook, a temperature-controlled compartment to keep your lunch warm or cool, and more storage areas located throughout the cab. | |  Temperature-controlled compartment | |  | | A large toolbox is integrated into the entry platform to keep tools, chains and other necessities outside the cab where they belong. You can easily install auxiliary equipment like monitors, radios etc., with the 10 mounting bosses provided. A monitor mounting bar provides ample space to attach several monitors within easy reach to the operator. Two auxiliary electrical circuits (one 3-pin ag plug and one 12-volt power outlet) provide power. Both standard and optional lighting packages provide the best lighting in the industry. The deluxe lighting package adds three exterior courtesy lights and four additional rear roof lights. The Nightbreaker™ light option features four HID lights (two in the front and two in the rear) for excellent visibility of not only what is in front, but more importantly, of the huge implements these powerful tractors are pulling.
